Here's some of my favourite music! as you will see, my taste is pretty eclectic. I really just love hearing sounds that I find satisfying. I also love music as a process of sharing with friends and family. It's really fun to hear what other people are listenning to right now and why they like it! the internet truly is a great place for this.
I heard this album for the first time last night while looking for ambient to write essays to. However, that really doesn't due this album justice. It is far more than easy listening. I found myself drawn into a seperate world from the library I was sitting in, where I could see emotions and feel sounds. This album is beautiful and all the tracks blend together perfectly. At one point I thought I had only listenned to one or two songs since the last time I checked my spotify. It turned out I had listenned to almost the entire album. I feel like it transported me to a place where time works differently. However, it may have note resulted in the most focussed studying.
I have loved Leith Ross's Album To Learn since I first heard it last spring; especially this song. I relate to it's message of breaking free from fear and learning how to live so much. Lately it's been hitting extra close to home. As an early transition trans person who finds herself boymoding most of the time, Leith Ross's lyrics feel extremely relatable. Sometimes this song hits a little too close to home, but I still love it.
